Plan rotary torque sensor integration near VFD and SiC drives. Review cable routing, shielding, grounding, bandwidth and the evidence needed for your test bench.
Engineering method reviewed . Configuration-specific data are confirmed with your drawing review.
Review the signal path under the actual inverter duty.
Original functional schematic. Configuration drawings control physical dimensions, support and connections.
Tell us the VFD/SiC drive, switching conditions, motor cable layout, sensor cable length, DAQ interface and grounding scheme. An encoder or torque channel that behaves well at standstill still needs verification during drive operation and speed/load transitions.
Cable and reference design
Document the separation and crossings between power, motor and measurement cables.
Confirm shield construction, connector shell continuity and the approved termination plan.
Review analog references, receiver impedance, isolation and common-mode behavior.
Follow the machine’s protective-earth design and the component manuals; no universal one-end/two-end rule is prescribed here.
Acquisition and test acceptance
Record torque-zero/noise and RPM integrity with the drive stopped and operating.
Repeat representative ramps, reversals and loaded duty while retaining raw data.
Document filters, sample rates, pulse counter limits and channel delays.
Identify the required standard/edition, method, configuration and pass limits before requesting a report.
Request a report that covers the proposed configuration.
If the project requires a CISPR 25-related test environment, state the applicable setup and requirements. No CISPR compliance is claimed for MT-RTR programs without the relevant report. Housing material or a shielded cable alone does not establish tested immunity or emissions performance.
Use the pinout review to confirm the reference scheme and the calibration scope to separate metrology from environment testing. Original operating reference: Burster 8661 operating manual; its model-specific limits apply to that product.
DRAWING / PINOUT / CALIBRATION REVIEW
Send the complete bench requirement.
We review the torque/speed duty, mechanical fit and signal chain before proposing a configuration.
Your reply should identify the candidate sensor, coupling bores, drawing/STEP availability, pinout, calibration scope and itemized quotation.
The email link carries the same entries and package options. Your email application opens a draft; send it there to deliver the request. Please share non-confidential specifications first.
Drawings, measured ratings and report availability are confirmed for the selected configuration. Please state your required delivery date and country.
Optional, for up to eight hours since your last edit. Contact details, company, country, quantity, application and original-model reference are excluded. Product pages apply their own series.
Review & download draft requirement
Save a text brief for internal engineering review before sending. Downloading does not submit the request.
Still to provide before sending: Full name; Work email; Delivery country; Target torque and units; Project quantity; Application and duty; Maximum operating RPM.
