Rotary Torque Sensor Pinout & Wiring Review

Review supply, analog torque, encoder A/B, shielding and shunt connections. Send your original model and pinout for a rotary torque sensor compatibility review.

Request engineering review ↗

Engineering method reviewed . Configuration-specific data are confirmed with your drawing review.

Match the signal function before matching a connector shell.

Functional sensor, approved cable, DAQ input and torque RPM power acquisition chain; no pin numbers assigned
Original functional schematic. Configuration drawings control physical dimensions, support and connections.

Two 12-pin connectors can have different power, ground, output and control assignments. Send the original model, capacity suffix, drawing revision and connector part numbers, including whether the drawing shows the mating face or wiring side.

For example, FUTEK TRS705 documentation names a Binder Series 581 connector and a specific shunt function. Those details apply to that manufacturer model; they are not a proposed MT-RTR connector assignment.

Write the replacement acceptance sheet.

  1. Original and proposed connector part number, gender and viewing direction.
  2. Function-by-function pin map, references, wire colors and cable shield drawing.
  3. Supply and scaling checks using the approved device instructions.
  4. Low-speed direction, encoder, shunt/range-control and DAQ logging verification.
  5. Signed-off drawing revision and calibrated system configuration.

Ask for mechanical/electrical replacement review and include the drawing revision in the RFQ.

DRAWING / PINOUT / CALIBRATION REVIEW

Send the complete bench requirement.

We review the torque/speed duty, mechanical fit and signal chain before proposing a configuration.

Your reply should identify the candidate sensor, coupling bores, drawing/STEP availability, pinout, calibration scope and itemized quotation.

The email link carries the same entries and package options. Your email application opens a draft; send it there to deliver the request. Please share non-confidential specifications first.

Drawings, measured ratings and report availability are confirmed for the selected configuration. Please state your required delivery date and country.

Optional, for up to eight hours since your last edit. Contact details, company, country, quantity, application and original-model reference are excluded. Product pages apply their own series.

Review & download draft requirement

Save a text brief for internal engineering review before sending. Downloading does not submit the request.

Still to provide before sending: Full name; Work email; Delivery country; Target torque and units; Project quantity; Application and duty; Maximum operating RPM.

This file includes your entries. Share only with intended recipients.
